What was the highlight of Fu Hau Hotel

We had a pleasant stay at Fu Hau Hotel!

Rooms provided are just like the photos you see on the website. Easy check in and check out process. Use a key to enter the hotel room. Bedroom is comfortable and bathroom is great! Also, has a TV, air conditioning, fridge, safe box, etc. Best part about the hotel is the location and how close it is from a MRT station (Daan Station) which is in front of the hotel. Convenience stores are close in proximity which was nice.

Minimal natural lighting as the window is small and covered by a window blind. Also, free breakfast buffet could be better as there are not many options but that is to be expected.

Position is perfect, over Daan MRT station, just 2 stops from Taipei 101. Staff was kind but everyone have some difficult speaking english. Room small but clean.

GREAT LOCATION BUT SMALL & OLD

The location is EXACTLY NEXT to Daan station (exit 4 & 5). The station has 2 lines crossing it and theres plenty of convenient stores and fast food restaurants, so its pretty convenient. The room has a small bath tub.

But the room for 2 is only 23 cm2, i find it abit too small. The hotel is not new as well. We could clearly hear who was outside our room (thats a bummer since our neighbors come back pretty late- it would wake us up).

Great location.

Freezer door not functioning properly. Towels placed by and lower than the toilet. Only a very small and high window in the room so that the natural lighting in the room is poor. .

Our plane was delayed and we arrived at the hotel around 1...

Our plane was delayed and we arrived at the hotel around 1 am. I advised the hotel quite late about our late check-in and they replied to me promptly. The room was clean and nice. The wifi was working quite well everywhere.

The room was on the busy road and we could hear road noise. The breakfast did not have much selection. We were given ticket for the breakfast (1 per day and per person) and this is not really a convenient way to have to search for the right ticket before going for breakfast. I did not like having the housekeepers waiting (and making noise) in front of the room from 11:30 am waiting for us to leave and do our check-out.

The quality of the hotel is not worth the money.

1) The actual size of the room is way smaller than the size shown on the booking page. There is not even a space for a small desk for a room supposedly 32 sq. m. 2) The room is very smelly 3) The hotel still use a physical key for the room.

Another learning experience.

Front desk staffs are extremely friendly , even speak only limited English , they are very eager to help and accommodate. Next to the front entrance of the hotel is already at the MRT station. So convenient!

The room is fairly small and smelly from the old carpet. They offer a dehumidifier in my room and is a bit helpful. The color of the curtain is dull and depressing. There is really room for improvement of the room’s outlook. The complimentary breakfast is mostly Asian vegetarian style with limited quantity. Breakfast start at 7-10 am . Yet by 730 am , some food items are already out of stock with no replacement . There is one food item that had been the same for 3 days in a row . The first day there are lots of meat in the gravy , the second day there is only a few pieces of meats in the same gravy . The third day there is only same gravy with meat residues in it.( and it is only 730 am in the morning). No replacement of food at all. And fresh fruit never placed on the serving table until 8 am when asked . I rather have the hotel price drop with no breakfast included will be a better option .
